{"id":3101,"date":"2018-05-12T10:12:39","date_gmt":"2018-05-12T08:12:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bartolinitartufi.it\/2018\/05\/12\/being-cook-rome\/"},"modified":"2018-05-12T10:12:39","modified_gmt":"2018-05-12T08:12:39","slug":"being-cook-rome","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bartolinitartufi.it\/en\/2018\/05\/12\/being-cook-rome\/","title":{"rendered":"Being Cook &#8211; Rome"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Metropolitan Center for Professional Hotel Training of Castel Fusano and the CHEFUTURO project are organizing on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 10 a.m. for the competition, from 4 p.m. for the public A DAY OF RACES, GASTRONOMIC LABORATORY, MEETINGS, TASTING, EXCELLENCE FROM THE TERRITORY, MUSIC AND FUN!<!--more-->  The issue of youth employment requires a strategic and appropriate training response.<br \/>\nThe role of the cook of today, and especially of tomorrow, also demands a new relationship with sustainability, culture and territorial resources.<br \/>\nThis can also happen to a relationship of collaboration and trust between the younger generation and those among us who are willing to seek effective responses.<br \/>\nThis event, the initiatives it proposes and the CHEFUTURO project in its eighth year, are intended to be a modest but thoughtful contribution to cultural and professional growth for our young cooks.<br \/>\nBeing a chef, and in particular &#8220;being an Italian chef,&#8221; will be in the future a task of great complexity and important implications.<br \/>\nAnd this is why Citt\u00e0 Metropolitana di Roma Capitale, the Hotelier Institutes, the CHEFUTURO project, local associations, companies in the supply chain of excellence and established professionals in the sector are once again coming together in what is both a celebration and an opportunity for discussion, to help build the best possible future for the category.<br \/>\nAs usual, the event starts at 10 a.m. with competitions and set-ups, and gets into full swing in the early afternoon with a series of culinary workshops, meetings with chefs, restaurateurs, short stages of gastronomic culture, and tastings.<br \/>\nAt the same time, it will be possible to meet with producers of excellence to discover products and flavors, taste delicacies prepared by student chefs, enjoy drinks, and listen to good music, from 4 pm until 8 pm.<br \/>\nNot to be missed!!!
